hi. Personally I don't see why there is a problem with the idea of custom
keymaps or configurable menus. i mean I no there is a wide range of targets
to support, but surely all that would need to be done would be to build in
clearly marked reset to defaults options for both configurable menus and
personally I have no use for the record feature on my player as I never
record with it, so I have assigned it to do something much more useful.
Also, if menus and keymaps were configurable on the player, I assume these
settings would be stored in a cfg file of some kind that could just be
