There's also LibUSB-Win32: http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb-win32
It claims to run on Win98SE, WinME, Win2k and WinXP. I use version
0.1.10.1 on Vista.

http://internap.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/libmtp/libmtp-0.3.5.tar.gz has
Windows porting instructions in README.Windows.txt. The instructions
say libmtp can use libusb-win32.
