I wouldn't think that multifont is a summer's worth of coding.

In general, I think we should try and propose projects that have a low
barrier for entry - Rockbox as App is definitely a worthwhile project
(so I agree it should be on the list), but requires a lot of knowledge
of the existing Rockbox codebase to do well, so I would be surprised if
someone volunteers for that.

Now that Rockbox is starting to work on a new generation of targets with
faster CPUs, alternative video codecs seem plausible - so working on the
video playing aspects of Rockbox would be a nice improvement, and
potentially a lot more than a summer of coding.
