Again arguing semantics, from an end user perspective, point B increases
the odds that any given "shutdown" will trigger this issue.
And for what it's worth, it's not just the 5.5g. My 2nd gen Mini does
the same thing from time to time, which leads me to believe that at a
bare minimum it's a PP502x iPod issue.
