I don't quite understand what you are talking about. Are you referring
to a specific section in the manual? Or what? Where do you have this
"PREV" from? Please be more specific so that we can make the appropriate
text more clear.

In "informal" chats PREV is sometimes used as a synonym for the LEFT
button (at least, on some players). But it's just a button which may
have different functions depending on the context. In the file browser
it usually takes you to the parent directory (or to the main menu if
you're already in the root).
