I forgot to run the "unmask" utility on them to remove space
graphics--sorry! I also removed the glyphs for U+0000 through U+001F
(lower control character range) and U+007F through U+009F (Delete and
the upper control character range). The new files are at:

     http://unifoundry.com/unifont-rockbox-20080907-1.bdf.gz

and

The font will continue to evolve. As it does, I'd like to automatically
generate new versions for Rockbox. Thus I'd appreciate it if you could
try to use this latest version. Once it is known to be okay, future
versions will be trivial to prepare for Rockbox.

On Linux/Unix systems, the control character glyphs were not displayed
by application software. Obviously they are in Rockbox, so I'll remove
them from future versions for Rockbox.

Thanks!
