Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2009 20:03:07 +0200 Hello, FS#8802 has a patch that should allow ipods to charge correctly over USB. There have been some questions about whether it is safe on all ipods. Is it? It looks to me that this is one of the two last reasons for people to need the OF, so I'd really like to see it committed. Is there anything still missing from this patch? I know that the integration of charging and USB enumeration isn't fully done yet (the 100mA vs 500mA allowed current issue), but hardware USB targets ignore this issue entirely (except for the h300 which leaves it up to the user, which really isn't that much better), and the software USB targets have ignored the issue for ages, so while I do think we should fix this, I don't think it's a blocker for FS#8802.
