On the right side, there are two buttons. the top one basically corresponds to Up, Down and Navi and is what you usually use for navigating directories and playing files, etc. The bottom one skips multiple files at once. Flick it up to go backward through the directory and flick it down to skip forward through the listing. I don't know how many files it jumps--I never bothered to count--but it is enough to be extremely useful and the fact that you can count the presses means you can navigate with a reasonable amount of precision quite quickly to where you want to be.
