I'm sorry, I erred. But devs were who first suggested this, and I
welcome comments in general, just most helpful ones. Paul can be
abrasive at times. I thought Devs should be kept in the loop, but I
felt that the dev comments should be kept separate for user comment, at
least at first.

He said in a post that discussing a con was pointless until we have a
place and time, which is cart before the horse.

He said that having one this year was not doable, we should not have one.

He said that the reason to have one was not to benefit Rockbox as a
project, but rather to educate users, which is not how the con idea was
put to me.

Also, it was not just the things he said, but also the way he said them.

I am sorry if I offended anyone by this, but at this point, I really
want to hear from users on the user list. His comments are of a
stifling nature.

If there is no interest in a con, then this whole discussion is pointless.
