This is basically the point I bring up any time I bring up binsize - is
it worth more than other things we could do with this space? It's harder
to take things out if we need to reclaim the binsize, than not put them
in in the first place if there's a high likelihood other things could
better use that space in the future or if the idea is just a "wouldn't
it be neat if" that doesn't really serve a useful purpose. This one is
pretty complex, but mostly useless and has drawbacks over the current
way we do things anyway.
