All I'm saying is that at end-of-playlist (repeat off), the playlist index is reset so playback will restart when PLAY is pressed (or Resume Playback is selected, or the player is restarted with Start Screen = WPS). IIUC, as a side-effect, this improves the use of RTC targets as alarm clocks too. If you leave your DAP playing as you go to sleep, then shutdown on idle timeout and restart on alarm it ought definitely restart the playlist (rather than silently display "Nothing to resume").
