Ugh - ok. So this is the real problem here.

Surely, it would be better to fix the underlying target problem rather than
hamper development for the rest of us.

Could the iPod "stop" action be delayed so it only happens on key release
(i.e. when it's known to be a long press, not a very-long one)?
