nominate: to officially suggest someone for an .... position

This doesn't imply just assigning people tasks they don't want. I
agree it won't get
anywhere if no one volunteers to triage their respective areas. And in
that spirit
I volunteered to at least triage the Playlist category as I now have
at least some passing
familiarity with the code.
