Subject: Google Summer of Code 2010

Google Summer of Code 2010

The time has come again for Google's Summer of Code. As with past
years, we plan on applying. However, in order for this effort to be
successful, some more help is necessary.

We need some more ideas for our ideas list! (
http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SummerOfCode2010 ) Though it is often shown
that students who come up with their own ideas for projects are
typically more successful, we need to have a fleshed-out ideas list so
that potential students can have a firmer grasp of the types of projects
that we would accept and what Rockbox might be in need of.

To clarify, this is not a general wish list for what "you" might want to
see in Rockbox. The only ideas that should go on this wikipage are ones
that have been discussed with developers so that it can be determined if
it would be something we would really want and if it would constitute a
suitable GSoC project.

Discuss!
