So pointing out that a commit breaks things, and that a simple check beforehand would have prevented it, is now taken as "simple whining"? FFS. In the space of a day I've been told to "show up and do some work" and now accused of "simple whining". Is it any wonder I'm not around here as much as I used to be?! All it would have taken was a mail to this very list, stating "we intend to change over targets XX and YY in ZZ days" to give me or anyone else a chance to test it. Regarding r26832, the same should have applied. If there is no-one around to test it, a quick email to the list or forum thread is the only real option, lest the commit gets forgotten about and turns out to be the cause of some obscure bug months later. (Note: in this case the intention was clear and the commit seems fine). Rob. Received on 2010-06-14 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
