That was not actually the big issue. What has made me push the new design down on my todo list is simply that I suck at web design. And the design requires non-trivial amounts of modification:

- The yellow player selection field requires new images for every target. It also needs to be redesigned/rewritten to support the stable/unstable/unusable separation.
  
- The different color fields on the front page don't match the rest of the pages on the site. Yet if I remove them, we're left with an odd lonely yellow field. Maybe the yellow field should go too? Then what's left?

- What information should really be on the front page? The demo page on new.rockbox.org is just filler.

I don't mean any of this as criticism against Maciej who designed the site. He did just what we asked of him.
