That would be a rounding error then. The clip+ is the first clip with
8MB ram, the earlier ones have under 1MB so taking away 15KB from
them.

There is no right answer on how to do this until we have a dynamically
sized skin buffer which who knows when that will happen.

The other option of course is to figure out why your skin is using so
much buffer and how to cut that down. How many fonts are you loading?
how many images? etc?
