I am far from an Android expert, but couldn't we build (and sign) apk's
in the nightly build? Then the user can choose which path to go, either
wait for a market release, or install the apk manually from the rockbox
Sure, we could invent our own update mechanism, but I fear that we will
only buy ourselves even more support problems, when that mechanism fails
for whatever reason.
I think the simplest solution would be to publish the stable releases on
the market, and then offer nightly apk's for manual installation.
