In the archives you have an e-mail thread on this with the subject
"Sansa e200/e200R keymap change". It has all the reasoning behind the
change that was done. It started with [1] and the beginning of the end
is at [2].

Personally I would now hate to see this changed back after all that, however...

Looking at the Fuze it is very similar to the e200 in button layout.
So it would make sense to keep them as consistant as possible.
