Subject: USB on AMSv2 (clip+, fuzev2): call for testers

USB on AMSv2 (clip+, fuzev2): call for testers

Hi all,
as you may know, there have been recent progress to make make USB work on
AMSv2 (like clip+ or fuzev2). However, we are currently stuck in a situation
where the usb code causes random failures, especially on the clip+. The
nature on these failures (either work from connection until disconnection or
either doesn't work at all) seems to indicate that the problem lies in the
initialization code but we have been unable to fix it.
On the other hand, having a working usb stack on these players is a must
have feature, that's why I've come up with a workaround which is not nice
but which have been successfully tested on several devices.

It would be really nice if some people could follow the procedure described
here:
FS#11664 - Workaround for usb random failures on amsv2 (
http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/11664)

Ideally, this patch would allow us to enable usb by default on amsv2 devices
but we definitely need testers before doing this.

Thanks in advance

Amaury Pouly
