With a bit more minor tweaking (differentiate SELECT to play and RIGHT to enter where keys allow), we'd have a browser that would consistently browse subdirectories/playlists/queries. This unified approach should lead to simpler code in general, and hopefully improve support for bookmarks and voice UI when dealing with the database. http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php/topic,27017.0.html is the discussion page. It definitely needs more thought (particularly if we want to support subqueries) but might be an achievable GSOC project in itself, as well as being one input for a larger database redesign project. pondlife Received on 2011-03-01 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
