I think that can be considered also these patches:

FS#12125 - Close all files and safely unmount disks before entering USB
mode, shutting down, or rebooting
FS#9087 - The wake-up alarm on ipods starts rockbox even if hold is on
FS#8269 - simulator: charger/charging states
FS#7542 - This patch moves all the playlist creation from theroot dir to
the PLAYLISTS directory

I use them since a lot of time with no problem. :-)
