My point is that apart from my hatred of the current behaviour there
is little need to break it *right this moment*. So I'm saying that
untill it is no longer viable to add features while supporting the old
behaviour it doesnt need to be pulled out.
I can say that it very probably wont be removed before the next
release, I cant say it will definitely *need* to be removed ever, but
if someone else wanted me to pull it I would * think* about it.
