Offline mode in Rockbox Utility is not intended for this kind of thing. It perhaps should be removed altogether since it's not really maintained since years and I doubt it's working the way it's supposed to be. Rockbox Utility will use voice strings stored on the player if (a) you're using a recent enough build and (b) you're using a development version of Rockbox Utility -- the latest release 1.2.14 doesn't include that feature. It does not understand the lang format (since that is the souce format that is processed for each player using genlang). In your case you would also need to update those stored strings -- genlang can generate the required files, but using the build system is much simpler since it automatically does this :) > By the way, when I've tryed to install Cygwin from your mirror, almost > nothing has been installed, and there was error -6 everywhere. I don't think cygwin is maintained anymore. Personally I would deprecate or obsolete it, since to the best of my knowledge people have moved to using VMs these days. > P.S. No need to store them someplace else. - Dominik Received on 2012-08-30 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
