Date: Tue, 19 Feb 2013 21:13:10 +0100 Hi Jonas, in this case I preferred to start working on a native port i.e. Linux and VM is not involved in any case...But on R0 and R1 there is a "Linux interface" to rockbox, pretty customized to run only on these players following Samsung modules (not standard nor complete at all). You can have a look at hosted/samsung folder in the new patch on gerrit. And yes they are capable of running linux in a nice way, lots of samsung player follow this philosopy; I'm pretty sure they used a common framework on different players! Glad you're interested, I think that where possible and / or difficult doing otherwise, a RaaA-hybrid port - how I call this - is a nice way to have the power of Rockbox.
