Subject: Re: rockbox-dev Digest, Vol 146, Issue 4

Re: rockbox-dev Digest, Vol 146, Issue 4

From: Wilgus William via rockbox-dev <rockbox-dev_at_cool.haxx.se>

Rockbox is opensource that doesn't imply you can decide how the project is
managed
(EVEN IF YOU YELL LOUDLY)

This isn't a topic meant to stir up a war but open discourse on a path
forward

The main issue isn't even the hosting cost but more of the site is insecure
and in need of refresh
at the same time we can distribute some parts of the site which will
decrease the hosting costs and
*I FEEL scorche should get some of the donation money if at all possible*
*after all he has been DONATING for years his time and money*
don't take that as he is demanding money he never even mentioned such a
thing.

That being said updating the site can bring the site current, make
maintenance easier, and lower the cost of hosting
the former two are the MAIN goals here with lowering the hosting costs
being a great side benefit
