FS#12039 - Ipod 5.5g Freezes
i have a ipod 5.5g,
Rockbox freezes in a range of 10 to 15 seconds after start
in this situation, no errors are displayed
I can stop the freezes pressing hold every time when rockbox starts. (Roxbox cleared)
when you connect the iPod (cleared) to a computer, and then disconnect, Rockbox freezes, sometimes does not freeze instantly and when try shut down, freezes in the process and displays this error

Given the tests you performed, it’s rather unlikely this issue is related to the database. It’s just that the database typically is the first piece of nontrivial code that gets to run after boot, so it typically crashes first if something is wrong.
Can you please retry with release 3.8.1? Perhaps you’ve run into the PP DMA issue that has a workaround in this release…
