FS#5256 - Support for Unicode text files
Hello, I am from Korea, so I am sorry for my poor English.
I have just installed Rockbox on my iriver H140 jukebox yesterday, and now I am enjoying it very much. Thanks!
But when I opened a Unicode-encoding text file created in Notepad(in windows xp), the text viewer just showed crashed characters. In addition, Rockbox crashed after a few seconds, so I had to stab ‘Reset’. :(… It seems that Rockbox crashes WHENEVER I open Unicode text file…it may be a bug.
* The original iriver firmware supports Unicode text files(not UTF-8…). When opening the text file, it determines encoding automatically, and shows Unicode text file correctly.

Without testing this myself first: are you using a unicode font (like unifont) on rockbox?
