FS#5292 - Player keeps getting stuck in the directory view with current CVS build (4 May 19:53)

The summary pretty much says it all I keep getting stuck in the directory view with the current build on my h140 if I try to use it to change which directory I am currently playing files from when playback of the current file is paused.

I pause the current song enter directory view, change into the new directory I wish to listen too and press select on the first file.

My player then no longer responds to key presses to move the curser up and down or even shutdown, but when you press a key the back light comes on and after a few seconds the back light goes back out again.

The only way shutdown the player or exit the directory view at this point is to press the reset button.

I don't know if which codec I am using is important but I am using ogg files at the moment.

Fixed by lostlogic in latest CVS.

It looking like some sort of strange interaction with bookmarks as after I reset it resumes with a bookmarked track in the same directory I was trying to play from rather than the first track in the directory I was trying to play.

Also when it dose start playing without locking up it starts from the beginning of the bookmarked track rather than starting playing the track I have selected.

In case it’s related to my config I have attached my .cfg file and a copy bookmark from the directory that I had the problem with last night.

Steps to recreate with current build (5 May 08:32)

- Enter directory view and start playing tracks from the beginning of a directory you don’t have any bookmarks.
- Skip a few tracks them create a bookmark.
- Enter directory view again and select the first track in another directory you don’t have a bookmark entry for.
- After it starts playing enter directory view again and go back to the first directory you were playing tracks in (the one you created the bookmark in) and select the first track. At this point the player will ether lockup or start playing from the track you bookmarked earlier, not the track you just selected.
