I have previously written some code that can be used to support input of "HOLD" in the UI Simulator. A few months ago when I actually tried it, it worked well enough.

Additionally, some keys are assigned as inputs for the various iriver remotes, as well as a key for remote toggle. Unfortunately, I do not know a way to provide an indication of which remote (and thus which keymap) to the user.

I post this code in the hopes that someone stumbles across it, and either commits or finishes it.
