I would like to see support for the open xml playlist standard called XSPF.

I have written scripts and have programs that output playlists using this standard, and would like to see rockBox be able to use it.

I don't think this has any real advantages, and thus is nothing that should be in the core. Write a plugin that converts to standard m3u ...
