FS#9731 - Car Adapter Mode isnt working anymore

The options “Car Adapter Mode” and “backlight on while plugged in” are not working anymore.
AC Adapter is detected by the iPod (WPS Screen change) but playing with this options does not show any effekt.

We've since reworked charging on the ipods. If this still occurs, please file a new bug report.

What effect exactly are you expecting from Car Adapter mode?

stop playback by disconnecting and start up / resume by connecting.
Like the iPod did in Rockbox 3.0 and like my Iriver H10 is doing all the time with 3.1

i have to add a few things. The rockbox_default wps / statusbar shows an Charger Adapter. The Cabbie_v2 does not show a charger symbol. Rockbox Debug Mode → View battery says Charger absent. (should say present). OF detects chargers well.
