FS#9812 - USB Constant Reboot

The USB drivers from Mike Sevakis is causing my Ipod to constantly reboot when using my ipod dock in my car. On the plus side, my ipod now loads into USB mode automatically when plugged into my computer with a power off state. Before where I had to first turn it on or it would freeze. I think it started with daily build 19767

Charger-only connections should be handled properly by now.

my e200 reboots too when using a usb-charger, but as always it reboots into the OF when plugging in a computer

(can somebody change the player type to all players?)

Can you ceheck with a new build (r19797 or later) ?

checked with r19799: the reboot-loop doesnt happen anymore. now the player reboots when disconnecting the usb-charger while backlight is on, but just turn the backlight on when backlight was off while disconnecting (it doesnt reboot then). i also see sometimes a bigger usb-symbol on the screen while the short freeze when rebooting, but only sometimes.

Johannes, give r19800 a try. There was one more surprise to all this.

It looks like it _might_ be a good idea to enable USB detection by bus reset for all ARC driver players. I cringe at the notion of hybriding the tick vs. event method to have a 3rd method of detecting the pins. Franky, I'd rather dump the usb tick altogether since it's just busy work 100 times/second for the CPU to check something that hardly ever changes.

i forgot: with r19800 everything works fine.

For iPod concerns, try r19819 or later. Hopefully this is all resolved now.
