FS#1004 - presets time-values in Settings after power-loss

After power-loss or battery-change the RTC-values are
crazy. For the normal time-format they are out of
range. When entering “General Settings - System - Set
Time/Date” this patch presets time and date to
2003-01-01 12:00:00. So it’s easier to trim them to the
actual time.

#699086 replaces this one

Anonymous Submitter commented on 2003-03-04 22:23

thats a VERY good patch !
I find myself not once running through lots of numbers
in order to set the time/date,

a more useful patch will be when you turn your unit ON
Rockbox will store the current time/date into a file
(if the time/date update will be reasonable ofcoure)
and after a power loss it will recover from the file.

meni.
