FS#10529 - New Game Icytower
I've started to write a new game, which is similiar to the popular freeware game Icytower. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icy_Tower)
The basic game engine is ready, but there is much work on the adaption to the targets, so that the difficulty is likely.
By now I used just wildcards for the player and the floors, because I'm not talented in drawing something. I hope you can help me with the images.
I'm looking forward for any feedback.

I am good at cloning. I 'm looking at the images, it seems not to difficult for me. Also change the Title to something like Rocky Towers for copyright reasons.
Okay so after spending a couple of hours looking at the game (I have not yet played it) I've created a player, BG, and floor. Note: these are unfinished, I made these for height of the 5G (which is what I have) use a Sim if you don't have one.
I'm glad that you would like to draw the images.
The first draft looks already pretty good, but please use RGB colors, because the color targets doesn't support anything else.
I don't know wether it's really possible, but I think it would be great if the movement of the player is animated. But this would be much effort, because we definitely need lots of images.
I renamed the game to skyrider to avoid copyright issues.
Apart from that I tried to improve the usability a little bit, but I'm not really satisfied with it. It needs still lots of work.
Besides I added some comments for better readableness.
I've updated the Player a bit, I added a jumping view. I plan to add side views for walking.
Whoops, forgot files :P
Here I added when he walks/runs it's just the right side but I'm sure you know how to turn it ;)
Hi, your images looks good, but on some targets the player have to be considerable smaller, so I'm afraid that the player isn't discernible, but I don't know how to prevent this.
Perhaps we could use some images from the 2D jump'n run game supertux, which is covered under the GPL.
Please check out the source code: "svn checkout http://supertux.lethargik.org/svn/supertux/trunk/supertux"
What do you think about the name skyrider?
Do you have tested the game yet?
