FS#1066 - Re-enable status line in USB xfer mode (Feat Req 700480)

This patch re-enables the status bar during USB mode when the user has status bar nornally turned off). This is handy because it provides battery status information which would otherwise be unavailable.

(I will probably further modify to include estimated battery time instead of volume when in USB mode - would be a cool feature, as volume isn’t useful at this time).

Here is an improved version of the patch which includes
changing to display battery time remiaining in place of
volume and play mode icons when in USB mode.

Note the previous version of the patch was poorly written on
my part and won't work except on the recorder. This version
should work on any hardware…
