FS#11029 - rockbox doesn't employ software charge monitoring on 3G

charging isn’t monitored on ipod 3G. it just goes up to 100% very quickly and stays there.

i’m not sure myself if this is possible with the ipod. TheSeven said on irc that the 3G has this capability.

i wonder because after charging with the apple firmware, unplugging and replugging, the apple firmware displays a charging symbol for a very long period of time again. maybe it’s just a timed charging period without software monitoring.
