Can you give a bit more details:
- What is the exact version you are running?
- What kind of files do you play?
- How large are those files?
- Is the crash happening near the end of a song or not?

I'm afraid the information you gave is not yet sufficient to debug this problem.

Could you please try release 3.8 or a more recent build?

Does it happen only when playing AAC files?

Also, please respond to those of Buschel's questions you haven't answered yet.

If you come across a file that consistently crashes Rockbox, please share the file with us if possible.
