FS#12311 - DATA ABORT on ThinMod.fms theme
For some recent versions now, I got a “DATA ABORT” upon startup of Rockbox on my SANSA FUZE (v1). Today I tracked it down being the line:
fms: /.rockbox/wps/ThinMod.fms
in my config.cfg. Now it boots up fine, but when selecting ThinMod.fms as FM Theme, I get the same “DATA ABORT” crash. Choosing ThinMod.wps as WPS works fine.
The last successful write of my config.cfg before the crash happened was with build r30582-110922. So I guess it was introduced with one of the next builds. (I do update Rockbox once every few days.) The bug persists with today’s r30707-111004.
ThinMod is there: http://themes.rockbox.org/index.php?themeid=1338&target=sansafuze

Hi, I’m the author of that theme.
The crash you are seeing might be related to the recent changes to buflib. AFAIK they prevent several themes from working correctly for the time being.
Attached is a version of the theme that I haven’t released yet. It uses a different (antialiased) font and works well on my Fuze V2. Perhaps it works for you as well.
@Progweed: Looking good. The theme loads and shows up fine, now. Thank you! :)
Shall we close this one now?
Sorry for not answering for so long!
Yes, I think this report should be closed. I’m not experiencing any problems with the original unmodified version of this theme on recent builds.
