FS#12703 - Clip Zip Crash and Device Not Succesfully installed

There is a bug with the clip zip that when you plug a device in for the first time it doesn't install succesfull the driver and when i unplug it the device crashes and needs a hard reset

I'm experimenting something like this with latest stable (3.13)

Upon plugging the Zip into a linux box, the device is not recognized by the computer (see attached kernel log), Rockbox crashes, and won't respond to any keypress.
Once this happens, the device has to be turned off by holding Power button for 20s or so.

This happens pretty much every time I plug the Zip with Rockbox.

If I boot the original firmware (by holding Left on boot) before plugging the zip into the computer, it doesn't crash and USB transfers work fine.

Yep but the workaround is by using original firmware to transfer files between device and pc

Can't do any logs as i already sold this device
