FS#12841 - Last.fm log character encoding
The character encoding for the LastFM log is wrong, so I keep getting scrobblings like this one:
http://www.lastfm.es/music/Kvelertak/_/Sj%C3%83%C2%B8hyenar+(Havets+Herrer)
http://www.lastfm.es/music/Kvelertak/_/Mj%C3%A3%C2%B8d http://www.lastfm.es/music/Kvelertak/_/Blodt%C3%A3%C2%B8rst http://www.lastfm.es/music/Equilibrium/_/D%C3%A3%C2%A4mmerung http://www.lastfm.es/music/Equilibrium/_/Des+S%C3%A3%C2%A4ngers+Fluch http://www.lastfm.es/music/Equilibrium/_/Die+Weide+und+der+Flu%C3%83%C2%9F http://www.lastfm.es/music/Equilibrium/_/Sn%C3%A3%C2%BCffel
Those aren’t very painful as at least the artist gets scrobbled right. But let me scrobble one Lantlôs track, and I’ll get it scrobbled to Lantlôs.
The character encoding of the Last.fm log is fine (UTF-8), and I never had any issues scrobbling names with umlauts, accents, etc.
I can only assume the issue is with whatever method you use to scrobble your tracks. I'm using QTScrobbler-x64 with perfect results.
