FS#1288 - status isn't updated when power is cut
If the user has selected numeric battery display, he still
gets the battery icon when charging [OK so far].
However, if the external power is disconnected before
the charge is completed, the status display stays ‘stuck’
with the battery icon and does not return to numeric
display.

This will be addressed as part of my ongoing battery/charging display
patch.
As far as I can see, the numeric display returns after about
a minute, when the power management thread has updated the
charge status info.
