FS#12904 - [Fuze v2] Rockbox 3.13 crashes when pausing and or resuming Opus Audio playback

Hi Gang,

My MP3 player has crashed about 5 times now playing back opus audio tracks between 1-2 hours in length. This typically occurs when I have either hit pause or the play button to resume and look down and notice that the screen has a white error message on it. I cannot be sure whether the player crashes when I hit pause or try to resume it. If there are any debug files or I need to start a debugger on the device I will try and help. Attached are the 4 error messages I received at different times and logged.

I want to be clear that I use this player for months at a time without a single crash and consequently I don’t believe it’s a storage problem, but I just ran checkdisks on both the internal and 32gb Class 10 card and neither had any issues to repair. The files I’m playing are on the uSD card, if that’s relevant though. I normally play back MP3 and or Ogg files and that’s why I believe Opus support is part of the problem.

Sorry, I didn’t have a repro. However, at least 75% of the time I was playing back opus tracks, hit pause, and either tried to make a bookmark or shut my MP3 player off it crashed. With your Development version from 2013-10-10, I’m not having that problem any more. It’s magnificent, everything works again.

Does this still happen with the current build? 3.13’s opus is quite different than current rockbox.
