FS#12908 - Sansa Fuzev2 when docking intermittently crashes with "Undefined instruction at 0000003C"
To replicate:
1. The player is booted up and running Rockbox 3.13
2. One end of the docking cable is connected to my computer’s USB port
3. Plug the other end of the docking cable into the player.
Expected result: The player should go into USB mode and mount on my computer as a USB storage device.
Actual Result: I briefly see the USB mode screen (with the USB icon), and then the player crashes with a whitescreen that reads “Undefined instruction at 000000003C”.
This happens intermittently. I haven’t been able to figure out any particular circumstance that causes it to crash, while other times it works. The instruction number always seems to be the same, though, 3C. The simple workaround is to launch the unit in the original firmware before plugging in the docking cable.

USB driver issues are well known on AMS
devices, so no need to open more tasks.
See FS#12638 for example.

Also, version 3.13 wasn’t available in the “Reported Version” dropdown when filing this bug report, so that’s why I filed it as 3.12.
Oh yeah, in case it’s relevant, the computer I’m plugging the player into is running Ubuntu Linux 12.04.
