The current build as well as 3.13 report and then fail:
parsing /kns017-maertyrer-gegen-copyright.m4a failed (format: ALAC)
However, foobar reports:
Codec profile : AAC SBR
Which is likely correct given that the bitrate is far too low to be ALAC.
