FS#13257 - USB Mode setting is ignored and always asks till WPS is opened
I’ve set USB Mode to Charge Only but this setting is applied only after I open WPS screen. If after setting change I simply exit settings menu to main rockbox menu (no music is played) - it asks on USB insert.
The same behavior after reboot. So if I switch it on and it’s loaded to main menu and then I insert USB - it always asks. Setting is properly applied only after I open WPS screen.

There were actually three separate bugs in play, all should now be fixed in revision 9c68c69 (currently building)
So in about 20 minutes, try the latest development build and let me know if it’s resolved for you.
Thank for quick fixes. It now works correctly for scenarios I described in issue. But if I switch it on by inserting USB it then loads in USB transfer mode (setting is set to Charge Only).
Hmm. It would appear the usb insertion event happens before the settings are finished loading.
I need to think about how to go about fixing that.
And a bit unrelated. I can't edit my comments… Why? Is it some strict policy setting or just missing bug tracking feature?
So maybe duplicate this setting in separate file and use it instead during boot.
