testing FW: 714f7a21da-2103*
after disconnecting a general purpose power supply (SONY 5V 1500mA) system crashes with:
*PANIC* mount: 0
a restart is immediately possible by pressing (NEXT) “lowest right button”

i see this behaviour on: a53864ed4a-2103 as well.
just to be shure. this power supply is a USB-C rated source.
notice:
a normal USB-A-rated 5V, 0.5A (hama 3W) power supply does not show this effekt. in this case the player switches after unplugging to the last used mode - which is correct.
question – what's the bootloader revision being used?
It's available in the tools menu of the bootloader or in the debug/hw info menu from within rockbox.
I'm unable to recreate this myself, but it does sound like the bootloader version is outdated. Downloading and re-flashing the latest version will likely make this go away.
