FS#13336 - 'Clear list & play shuffled' Disappears When Something's playing or paused
When I long-press on a directory if a track is currently playing or paused, there’s no ‘Clear list & play shhuffled entry in the ‘Current playlist’ submenu - only ‘Clear list & play next’. On the other hand, when playback is stopped, both entries appear in the ‘Current playlist’ submenu. Interestingly enough, these are the only 2 entries available there when the player’s in that state.
This is on an XDuoo X3II running build e8faf2f2ad-220212.
As I can’t tell whether this is an X3II only issue or not, I left the operation system combo box on ‘All players’. Hope that’s OK.

It looks like this was done intentionally β "Clear List & Play Shuffled" internally does the same thing as "Insert Shuffled" so it only works as advertised when the playlist is empty.
Thanks for the reply. That does not sound all that intuitive to me to be honest, but be as it may, it's good to know that it's not a bug.
It's still a usability bug, even if not a technical bug.
Should be fixed in the latest dev build now (d20071def0).
Thanks for the info. I see that we now have 'Play' and 'Play Shuffled' instead of 'Clear List & Play Next' and 'Clear List & Play Shuffled'. I'm just saying - absolutely no problem with thatβ¦ π
The new menu items behave as expected. π
So, I think this can be closed now.
I think that I've found a bug with the play shuffled option after all. I will report it as a new issue to keep things clean.
