FS#1335 - poweroff nonop while on AC
On my Studio20 running release 2.0, the automatic
poweroff is set to the default (5 minutes I believe?).
When the unit is plugged into AC and let play for a few
hours, it doesn’t automatically poweroff when it runs
out of MP3s to play.
This is simply playing a folder of MP3s, not a
playlist. If I poweroff the unit by hand, then power
back on it asks “Play/Resume?” after the Rockbox banner.
Scenario: load up folder of MP3s, in my case maybe 5 or
10 MP3s each one about 100meg in size, usually
192/128kBps. Plug into external speakers, hit play and
fall asleep. :) Wake up the next morning and check unit.

Sorry but this is the way the hardware works. You cannot
turn the unit off from software when the power is plugged
in. The only poweroff that will work is to press and hold
the OFF button, which is also hardware controlled. Nothing
we can do about it.
