FS#1369 - Record at min. gain from mic is effectively off.
Model JBRHD15
Firmware OS version 1.28
Rockbox V 2.00 (also happened with previous build
loaded on this machine…was a daily build, unsure of
date…pre V2.0)
HW Info:
ROM: 1.28
Mask: 0×0302 USB: positive
ATA: 0×200 PR: positive
Freq: 11.0592MHz
When record source is set to Microphone, and Record
Gain is set to it’s minimum (21dB), the resulting
recording is silent. I was attempting to record a live
rock band (my own…not bootlegging)…I’m sure the
volume was loud enough .
Not that this is necessarily a problem, but it should
probably be labeled as ‘off’, or something like that,
instead of implying a gain that doesn’t occur.

Finally, I found the bug that caused this. Thanks for
reporting. This is now fixed in CVS.
